The Council meets on the 1st Tuesday of the Month at 7:00pm in the Family Life Center of St. Francis of Assisi Church. If a holiday falls on the meeting date, the meeting is usually scheduled for the next Tuesday.

Saint Michael's Council 8363 was founded on April 24, 1983. The charter Grand Knight was Robert Carpenter, other charter officers were Father Mike Langell - Chaplain, Frank Tastinger - Deputy Grand Knight, Wayne Dameron - Chancellor, and James Veit - Financial Secretary. It is named after Saint Michael, the defender of the faith. St. Michael's Council works closely with the Parish in Franklin, providing funds for various projects, our members are participants as ushers, lecturers, eucharistic ministers, catechists, etc. Since it began this council has been very active. We have celebrated flag day, been involved with the L.A.M.B. project, flea market sales, bingo, holiday dinners, picnics and Christmas Dinner for the Handicapped, erected a memorial for abortion victims, sponsored Cub Scout Pack 263, helps with maintenance around our church grounds. Most of all to help one another when called upon to do so.
